    • Newspaper Article - Wednesday, September 9, 1896 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Personal - The marriage of Miss Zella Hubbs to Mr. Albert K. Box will take place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Hubbs, Tuesday afternoon, September 29th, at five o'clock.

      Newspaper Article - Wednesday, September 30, 1896 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - An Autumn Wedding - An event which interested a large circle of Pulaski people was the marriage of Miss Zella May Hubbs to Mr. Albert K. Box, which took place at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. George L. Hubbs, in this village, yesterday afternoon at five o'clock. The house was handsomely decorated with wild clematis and potted plants. Precisely at five o'clock the bridal party entered the parlor to the strains of a wedding march, Mrs. Blanche MacDonald presiding at the piano. Miss Kathleen Clarke acted as bridesmaid and preceded the bride, who entered leaning on the arm of her father. They were met by the groom. accompanied by Mr. Jay Hubbs. Mr Emmons, pastor of the Congregational church performed the impressive ceremony which made them husband and wife. After congratulations a dainty lunch was served. Many beautiful presents of silver, china and linen were received. The guests from out of town were Col. and Mrs. H. H. Lyman, of Oswego; Mr. and Mrs. William Box, of Watertown; Miss Madge Kiblin, Mr. Will Kelley, of Syracuse; Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Harding, Mr. and Mrs. S. Snyder, of Sandy Creek. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Hubbs and has been a resident of this town nearly all her life and is highly esteemed in a large circle of friends. Mr. Box is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Box and is always resided in this place. He is a very successful businessman and is a proprietor of the Box Desk Works. Mr. and Mrs. Box have the hearty best wishes of their many friends. They departed on the 7:20 train. After a short absence they will return to occupy their home on Church street.
