    SPICER, MARION E., 75, of Safety Harbor, died Friday (March 22, 1991) at Mease Hospital Countryside, Safety Harbor. She was born in Richland, N.Y., and came here in 1975 from Camillus, N.Y. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Ronald C.; two sons, Ronald C. Jr., Madison County, N.Y., and Frederick, Camillus; four daughters, Linda Keenan, Tampa, Barbara Law, Owasco, N.Y., Margaret Miceli, Solvay, N.Y., and Joan Greene, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Harwood Dunbar, Lakeland, and John Dunbar, Pulaski, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Spicer Dies Suddenly - Last rites for Clarence Spicer, 76, who died suddenly at his home in Richland Thursday evening, were held Sunday at the Foster Funeral Home at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert Brownell of Fulton officiated. Interment was in Richland Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Obleman Spicer; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Irene) Currie of Sandy Pond; a son, Ronald Spicer of Syracuse; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Spicer was born January 6, 1884, at Sulphur Springs, Town of Hounsfield in Jefferson County, the son of James and Rebecca McClary Spicer. When he was one and one half years old his father died and his mother later married Walter Ames. The family moved to Richland when he was a small boy. For many years he was a farmer on the Richland-Lacona Road before moving into the village of Richland in 1947. He carried on farming on a small scale after moving into town. He was married to Helen Obleman on April 8, 1903. Mr. Spicer was assessor for the Town of Richland for four years and was a member of the Richland Church of Christ.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 8, 1960 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Held for Mrs. C. Spicer - Services for Mrs. Helen Obleman Spicer, 78, widow of Clarence J. Spicer, who died Friday morning in the Oswego Hospital, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Brownell, pastor of the Richland Church of Christ, officiated. Interment was in Richland Cemetery. She had been ill about two weeks and hospitalized nine days. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Irene) Currie of Sandy Pond; a son, Ronald C. Spicer of Syracuse; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Charlotte Nichols of Richland, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Spicer died June 2, 1960. Mrs. Spicer was born in Richland on June 16, 1882, where she had resided most of her life. She was the oldest daughter of Peter and Helen Fox Obleman. She was married to Mr. Spicer April 8, 1903, and was a member of the Richland Church of Christ. Mr. and Mrs. Spicer operated a farm on the Ridge Road for many years, moving into the village of Richland in 1947.

She was born in 1861, on Wolf Island, daughter of Louis and Lucretia Bowman McClary, and was a member of the Church of Christ, Richland. Besides her son, Clarence, she is survived by another son, Earl Ames, of Syracuse. The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Spicer home and at the Church of Christ at 2 p.m. Burial was in Richland cemetery.

    Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 27, 1918 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Richland - Peter Obleman of Watertown, a former resident of Richland died suddenly on Saturday morning while at his work, death being due to paralysis of the heart. The remains were brought to Richland for burial. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ on Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Obleman was 52 years old and is survived by the following children, Mrs. Helen Spicer, Richland.     Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 30, 1938 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Ward Finster passed away Monday morning, March 28, at one o'clock, from a short illness of pneumonia, aged 75 years and 3 months. Mr. Finster was united in marriage with Miss Elizabeth Hilton August 19, 1880, who survives him. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Jasper Finster, four daughters, Mrs. P. J. Clark, Mrs. M. D. Pennock, Mrs. R. E. Armstrong of Orwell and Mrs. Leon Dunbar, of Richland, several grandchildren and one brother, Lewis Finster of Pulaski. A private funeral services were held in the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial made in Evergreen cemetery. Rev. C. T. Martin officiated.
